MahaWiki Coding Challenge: Knowledge worth Sharing!!
HOLA Guys! This first ever blog of mine is to share my first ever journey of MahaWiki coding challenge. Wondering what’s MahaWiki? What’s this coding challenge is all about?
So Guys get ready to jump and deep dive into a sea of Knowledge and fun…
What’s MahaWiki all about?
For newbies in the tech world, who have calibre and who wants a platform to showcase their technical skills, MahaWiki is not less than a blessing.
GirlScript Foundation in association with ProlificMe Team had organized an online knowledge sharing coding contest for students in India.
It’s a 30 + 15 days Online coding challenge primarily emphasis on various thriving technologies and tools for students to get Project-based learning besides their theoretical college syllabus.
Phases Of MahaWiki —
45 days 21 challenges with lots of rewards and motivation.
Phase 1- Challenge 1:- GitHub Course Completion.
“ DEVELOPMENT is incomplete without GITHUB! “
This Challenge was primarily focused on students to get them well versed with GitHub which is an excellent version control tool and collaboration platform for software developers.
Today almost every developer working on a group project or individually use GitHub as their most important resource, so it’s really important for a novice to understand the terms used behind GitHub.
As a reward, we got a certificate from Leading online learning platform Udemy and 2 months of free subscription from progate.
Challenge 2,3,4:-
Dark Knight Rises.
Joker and Acid.
Batman in a MAZE.
Coding and Data Structures Challenge
Here comes the second best part of the challenge (Thamba Thamba! Will soon disclose the first best one too.) In this challenge, the problems level was basic to intermediate so that each participant can have his/her part.
The mentor used to provide a coding challenge every single day.
This challenge is to gear up the newbies to have a chance to work on different coding platforms like HackerRank and TechGig etc.
I personally get to learn so many new things like how test cases work, how Input-Output format and constraints should be maintained, how corner cases and time complexity comes into the picture.
This challenge had increased my level of logical thinking for sure.
It had provided participants with a directional approach to solve different problems.
Phase 2-Challenge 5,6:-
Web Development Course Completion.
Web Development project completion.
One of the most Fascinating Challenge, My coding mates had shown an extreme level of enthusiasm for this particular challenge. There were about 20+ different project ideas were proposed in the group out of which 8 mates of mine had successfully turned their idea into a live website.
Thankfully I was able to implement my proposed idea before the given deadline.

Samyuktha(Our AoG mentor), Girl you really deserves a bow for handling my silly questions sometimes.Hope to see my action getting live soon.
Challenge 20:-

The last but most important where I and my mates have to pen down our experience, our knowledge or about anything new and trending about IT.
My Experience about MahaWiki —
It was a great journey working with so many talented peoples from different cities of India. You name a city and we have a MahaWiki participant from that city(the best part).
Meeting such lovely talented people from all over India and having a discussion on corner edge technologies like blockchain, Tensorflow, Google cloud and many more are worth rememberable. Someday we guys discussing on Nvidia and the other day showing frustration on poor university rules like mandatory attendance, CGPA’s N all feeling each other’s painful Stories.
Lastly thanks to our mentor Ankitkumar Singh, Samyuktha Prabhu, Pratik, Ishaan, Chandrashekhar, Sonali for their constant support.
Sorry! If I forgot to mention anyone’s name here :/
